Clan Maxwell Society of USA 2009 AGM

The annual meeting will be held about five o’clock on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 14th, in the meeting room of the Central
Texas Area Museum that adjoins the Wee Scot shop in the village center. Following the meeting, there will be a Maxwell family
dinner at the historic Stagecoach Inn, just across the street, for those who wish to participate. All that should be completed in
time for the evening’s 8 p.m. ceilidh, for members who want to add that to their agenda.

This year’s annual general meeting will include election of two officers: president and one (of four) vice president.

There will also be “state of the Society” reports from the president, secretary and treasurer as well as open discussion and consideration of any other business brought forward by members.

Those planning to stay in Salado overnight will find several hotels as well as a number of B&B accommodations in the village; however, the facilities fill up early, so reserving as far in advance as possible is strongly recommended.
